This is miniature library bookcase filled with 200 (two hundred) miniature books. Suitable for 1:12 scale.

Do you love old books lying on old library shelves as much as I do? When you look at old books, there is always a curtain of mystery that you want to unveil. The rhythmic ticking of an old wooden clock in the distance, the smell of dust in the air, and in front of you there are lots of books illuminated by the sun’s rays.

These books are at your fingertips and can be yours. You can have them in your collection of miniatures and by looking at them you can make up thousands of stories…both those written in books and those about books. This is the beauty of a miniature world, we can create our own mini worlds, full of mini stories and unique accessories.

The set includes a beautiful wooden miniature bookcase of dimensions:
Height: 23 cm (9.05”)
Width: 21 cm (8.27”)
Depth: 3cm (1.18”)

This beautiful bookcase is filled with 200 miniature books. Books are handmade by me, most of the covers are made out of leather and faux leather, and also paper. Paper covers are scans of vintage and antique books, digitally enhanced and miniaturised. Books are not glued into the furniture so can freely move these around or use for other projects and settings.
Text blocks (inside of the books) are mostly made out of paper, but some are made out of wood, cardboard or other synthetic material.

It is interesting to note that there are not two identical books in this set! Each book is different, one of a kind. Most of these books were created while listening to music, during certain conversations and unexpected visits of my dogs. Although my dogs are no longer with me, there are still memories. While doing this set, I realised that these books were made between 2014 and 2019, and that’s a bit of time and memories.

Now is your turn. The books are looking for a new home and are ready to start a new phase in their lives, so you may be the creator of their future days and new settings.
