This is a stack of 14 leather books in 1:12 scale.

I carefully pay attention to the details. Spines, covers and text blocks are made slowly and with care, my books look very realistic.

Books have detailed spines, some have raised bands. Everything carefully shaped, some of them are painted. Books are aged with inks and paints so all stacks looks like pile of old, worn out books. Books are covered with leathers and faux leathers from Ireland, Poland, UK and Italy, most of them covered with satin varnish for protection.

It measures around 13 cm (about 5.11 inches).

Pile/ stack/ set of 43 miniature leather and paper cover books in 1:12 scale. Mini potion at the top and mini inkpot with feather on the side.

This is a pile of 43 miniature books in 1:12 (1 inch) scale. Leather, faux leather and paper covers. Miniature potion (black) at the very top of the stacks and also mini inkpot with white feather on the side (lower part of the stack).

Books have detailed spines, some have raised bands. Everything carefully shaped, some of them are painted. Books are aged with inks and paints so all stacks looks like pile of old, worn out books.

It is carefully balanced, but high stacks like this one, like to “bounce” while touching or placing. This particular stack has 43 books and is just too heavy to be balanced. But once you get used to the whole construction and you will know how to lift and handle the stack.

It measures around 19.5 cm (about 7.67 inches).

This is a pile of 22 miniature books in 1:12 (1 inch) scale. Leather, faux leather and paper covers. One book at the very top of the stack is open “Da Vinci” book.

Miniature leather book 1:6 scale, front cover with glass Dragon’s eye, OOAK collectible mini book. Non-openable, round spine, raised bumps.

This is miniature book 1:6 scale with very unique front cover- a glass dragon’s eye. It looks very realistic, so shiny! Glass eye is convex and I carefully shaped eyelid out of leather.

Faux leather has been used to make this book. Shaped, coloured, painted, varnished. My intention was to create very worn out, old looking book. Some pages are twisted and bent to give a stronger feel of book age.
Mini book is handmade by me from scratch.This is version with text block in brown old paper colour, fixed to stay closed. Non- openable display book.
Spine is round and has two raised bands carefully shaped.

Book measures 3.5cm x 2.8cm (1.3 inch x 1.11 inch)

This is a pile of 19 miniature books in 1:12 (1 inch) scale. Leather, faux leather and paper covers. At the very top of the stack is Celtic skull attached and glued into the stack (hand painted by me).
I carefully pay attention to the details. Spines, covers and text blocks are made slowly and with care, my books look very realistic.

Books have detailed spines, some have raised bands. Everything carefully shaped, some of them are painted. Books are aged with inks and paints so all stacks looks like pile of old, worn out books.

The whole construction 😉 stands on its own.

It measures around 12 cm (about 4.72 inches).

This is a miniature book “Defence Against The Dark Arts” in 1:12 scale (1 inch scale).

This is really nicely done mysterious display book. Although it doesn’t open and can not be read, text block has real aged paper pages (cut by me). Glued very slightly as I wanted to give it old, worn out look. This way, pages slightly open, giving this book very nice and realistic look.
Book measures 1 inch (2.5 cm).

This is leather bound Spell Book. Miniature size- 2.7 cm x 3.2 cm (1.06 inch x 1.25 inch).

Unique handmade Book of Spells, leather bound with soft black leather. Spine has raised bands, front cover has glass cabochon “Spells”, orange colour.
Book is handmade, from scratch by me, doesn’t open and empty inside, but text block is made out of paper and aged. Book has very nice aged brass hinge (which doesn’t open), decorated with orange gemstone.

Yes 🙂 1:24 scale, not 1:12. I have been doing, so far, stacks only in 1:12 scale. But I decided to to do a stack in smaller size.

23 books and only 3 inches high…this book stack is really tiny 🙂

Dollhouse miniature leather books with Owl

This is a miniature book with Owl. Book has been made in 1:12 scale for dollhouse miniatures. Perfect for a ornithology dollhouse setting, witch desk, library etc. Sky is the limit 🙂

Front cover depicts an Owl- a symbol of wisdom.

Text block is made out of wood, but it has been painted and treated to look more realistic, old paper shade. This is a display book which means text block is fixed to stay closed, can not be open. Book measures slightly less than 1 inch (2.2 cm).
Cover is made out of faux brown glossy leather + paper. Spine has painted label.
